About Us

SST Ltd was formed from a group of practicing engineers with over 40 years combined experience in communications and telemetry applications systems within UK and European organisations. Experience covers satellite communications, systems engineering, vehicle integration and interfacing, hardware design, software development and project implementation. In more recent years we have focused on development of in remote vehicle tracking and monitoring systems.

We have the ability to support projects adopting the methodology of large companies but with the flexibility and cost effectiveness that only a small company can provide.

In 2002 we joined the Traffiq consortium to exploit our specialist vehicle tracking and monitoring software within the wider vehicle telematics markets. We have just completed our 3rd generation of vehicle tracking and monitoring software which now runs from the machine independent java environment utilizing network layer security for guaranteed data integrity and confidentiality. In addition to our in-house development of potential products we provide technical expertise and project support to a number of clients. As a small company we are able to respond quickly and cost effectively to our customers needs by moving staff from internal tasks to using additional expertise and resources from within the Traffiq consortium.
